Grey and pops of Pink Nursery

Here is an adorable nursery I found on Pinterest. Wow I love the grey with hot pink accents and how the pink is carried out through the room.  Such a soft feel with pops of personality.
On one wall in this nursery you can find four large pictures of excited new parents.  How beautiful are these pictures.  You could even have a picture of announcing you are pregnant, announcing the gender, baby shower, and more.
Oh, and that tv is perfect size and position from the glider for you to enjoy some of your favorite shows while nursing.
The striped grey and white wall creates a focal point over the crib and I like the cream that this designer put on the other walls and in the other furniture (like the glider chair, curtians)

The way they put this baby girl name on the wall is beautiful! Bright pink flowers as the first letter and pink name below.

Here is another wall in this grey and bright pink girl nursery.  This mirror is so unique and beautiful! The cubby bins are perfect for storing baby clothes, toys, and books, and in this nursery they placed a changing table on top.  What a beautiful nursery from Project Nursery.
Nursery Designing Tip: If you have a narrow room or want your nursery to look more spacious, a mirror is a perfect way to create an illusion of more space.

Cinderella Carriage Cribs

I keep on seeing these over the top cribs that look like cinderella carriages.  Wow these are expensive but way cute.  I'm sure that after this little girl gets too old for a crib you could take that part out and use it as a big girl bed or use it in a playroom.  Here is the Princess Coach Iron Crib from Posh Tots.  So much detail in the crib bedding, the the crib and the backdrop with a princess castle.

Here is a beautiful Cinderella Carriage Crib from Baby Cribs Boutique.  If you look close you can see the beautiful crown on top of this crib along with birds and flowers.

This white Cinderella Carriage Crib looks beautiful against this pink and white nursery. I personally would choose a cream or tan for the wall color so the crib could stand out, but nevertheless, this is so pretty.  It's hard not to like this crib, even though you might not want it in your own house.

Here is the last beautiful elaborate crib (this one is the Carriage Pumpkin Bed and Crib which is awesome when your little girl can still use it after she is too big for a crib).  As you can see most of the structure is pretty similar.  There are other kind of carriage cribs as well.  I like how in this nursery the pinkish orange accents are seen throughout the room from the curtains, bows, bear, and blanket.

DIY Elaborate Headband

1: Get your materials.  For the middle flowers I used an organza and burned the edges.
The other 6 flowers I used ribbon or fabric.
1/8 yard of organza
Two spools of different colored ribbon
1/8 yard of another fabric
Other materials: hot glue gun, thread and needle, lace, headband, alligator clip, piece of felt, scissors

2: Burn the organza.  Cut your organza into circles.  I cut three circles of 4 inch circles, of 3 inch, and two circles with two inch and one inch diameter circles.  Next CAREFULLY burn the edges of the fabric.  Go all the way around.  It is up to you how long you want to burn the edges, typically the longer it burns the more curly it becomes (I don't like my flower edges too curly).

3. Even though this is another color, this is what the organza petals look like.  You want to arrange the order of the petals (I put the biggest petals on the bottom to the smallest ones on top).  I then hand sew the middle of the flower a few times.

4.  You can tell from this pink flower that I hand-sewed a few times back and forth to keep the flower in place.  I used a tan linen to create some of my flowers, and white ribbon for the other flowers.

5.  Here is the other headband I started off with.  After you decide which flowers you want to create you can start placing them on the piece of felt.  I then start gluing the middle parts of the flowers (not the whole thing or you might not be able to see the other flowers).  I glue the organza flower in the middle and then continue gluing the flowers closest to the organza.

6. After everything is glued, I cut the excess felt as close to the flowers as possible.  I then can add pearls, the headband part (you can also glue an alligator clip to the back to take it on and off of the headband), and lace

Where Dreams are Made Nursery

What a cute nursery from The Dedicated House.  I love the stars and moon theme and how the nursery walls are painted/wall papered on the top and bottom. Many times the designer will paint the nursery one color to make it easier or more convenient.  If you have certain wallpaper or design you want in the room I say go for it!

Here is another angle in the nursery.  Love the storage bench on the other side, definitely gives lots of room for cute toys for this new baby.

Haha, love this sign on the door.  I love when nursery designers put their personality in the design.  Haha

Look how comfy that rocking chair looks in the corner.  It looks like this nursery used all white furniture which gave a nice flow throughout the room.

Here is another angle, cute a cute changing table in the window with a mobile for the baby to look at.  I love these thick curtains, this will definitely help the baby sleep especially during the day.  The table in the middle will be perfect for them to sit and play when they are a little older, it's so great this room is a good size!
Thanks again for sharing! I love seeing people's nursery ideas and how they turned out!

Pink and Aqua Bird Nursery

This beautiful pink and aqua nursery was designed by http://www.angelablakephotoblog.com/2012/04/spring-a-new-birth/.  I am so in love with this nursery, I love the structure of this room with the large windows going to the ground and of course the neutral tones.  The tree wall art is amazing and I love how there are many trees not just one.

Here are some more pictures of the same nursery from Onto Baby.  The pops of aqua are amazing, the little birds in aqua are so cute and bring depth especially to the main wall. Look at the mobile up close, great detail and colors.

Here is the other corner of this nursery, what a comfy seat.  Two things that I would do different is buy heavier blackout curtains for the baby to sleep and a larger table next to the chair.

This nursery dresser changing table is amazing! All of the white furniture stands out from the wall color.

Organize with Petunia Pickle Bottom’s Designer Diaper Bags

This image below (which I created on Taxgedo) encompasses the many amazing qualities I find with the Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bags and brand.  From durable, functional, designer, and more, their quality products really are top notch.
As women we pretty much spend our day running around, being everywhere at once, and trying to keep our heads on straight, staying organized sometimes gets way low on my priority list. Having a diaper bag, purse, and other items to help organize the things I need close by really makes a huge difference.

One thing I absolutely love about Petunia Pickle Bottom products is how they are made to be functional.  If you peak into the Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Diaper Bags, you can see their many pockets to hold baby bottles, wipe containers, zippered pockets and amazing features including changing pads, stroller straps, phone holders and more! These bags are definitely going to be the best buy for you and your baby's needs.

This is a look inside the Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Diaper Bag.  Look how much can fit in there!  Definitely helps you know where things are so you can get to it easily.

Here are some amazing styles of the Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Bags along with tons of other styles.  I love the new patterns for the Fall 2012 collection.  There are so many to choose from, I go to my favorite boutique Oopsie Daisy who has all of the updated and PPB Boxy patterns!

This amazing bag can be used in your travels and is the perfect size for a weekend getaway.  The dimensions are 12 X 17 X 13 in. which is perfect for your travel needs.  I did a giveaway for this cute bag a few months ago and Jill loves it!

The Petunia Pickle Bottom Satchel is another beautifully designed and functional diaper bag from Petunia.  Same pockets and features as the Boxy Diaper Bag, but different dimensions if you want something less boxy.  You can see a view of the outside bottle pockets which are perfect to get to, I love how you are able to easily wipe this bag which makes it easy to clean.

Here is my Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake Diaper Bag.  Love this bag!
This Petunia Pickle Bottom Travel Train Case (in a Misted Marseille) can help you organize your make-up and other bathroom essentials whether you are using this in your bathroom or with you while travelling.
Look how much can fit in here! I love having pockets inside cosmetic bags so you can easily get to things and know where they are.

Another way you can organize with Petunia Pickle
Bottom is through their wallets.  This Wanderlust Wallet Travel Through Tivoli has 10 credit card slots, zippered coin purse, two photo windows for family pictures, interior pocket and bill pocket to store receipts, cash, and more.  What a great wallet and you can find them to match your Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bags.
Love all of these cute items! I can't believe how amazing these products are to help women stay on top of it and organized. Love how they make them so beautiful and functional for all of us no matter if we are travelling or just going to the grocery store (which sometimes feels like travelling when you bring a bunch of kids :))
